Eggs are used in a lot of recipes, so it can be hard to make delicious homemade recipes without them. Here are some swaps you can make for eggs in your holiday baked goods this year. Every swap below equals 1 egg.
1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce or banana
1 tbsp ground flaxseeds, 3 tbsp water, whisked and allowed to thicken for 5 min.
3. Prune Puree
1/4 cup prune or apricot puree or baby food
1/4 cup pumpkin or squash puree
1/4 cup silken tofu, whisked until smooth
6. Chia Seeds
1 tbsp whole or ground chia seeds and 3 tbsp water, stirred together and allowed to gel for 10 min.
3 tbsp aquafaba (canned chickpea liquid) whisked until frothy.
