Healthy Lasagne

Lasagna is one of those hearty meals that’s perfect for winter. But let’s be honest lasagne isn’t seen as a very healthy meal. But with a few swaps and healthy additions it can be a great healthy meal.


  • Ground Turkey
  • Taco Seasoning
  • Cottage cheese
  • Lasagne noodles
  • cheese


  • Spinach
  • mushrooms
  • paprika


I generally buy the lasagne noodles that do not need any boiling however I have found doing a quick blanch on the noodles helps them to be cooked all the way without being mushy. Otherwise you will boil your noodles until limp. Then cook your ground turkey, make sure the meat is brown before adding in any seasoning. Once browned add in taco seasoning, salt, pepper, and any others seasonings you may like , this is where you will add in any vegetables or extra ingredients as well. Cook until vegetables are done and all seasoning are mixed in. Now take a baking dish and start your layers with noodles. Then add in the meat and cottage cheese on top of that finishing with the cheese. Continue layers until all ingredients are gone. Preheat the oven to 400 and place into oven once ready for 10-15 min. Remove and let sit for 5 minutes and enjoy!
